There and back again

Hello! After a brief foray with the Iphone 4, I have returned to my senses and rejoined the X world. I am not a typical Apple basher - I have been using Apple products since 1984 and currently own two Mac computers. I honestly believe the X is a better phone, once you get past the hype. I'm not going to bash the iphone: I just think it has some limitations that people don't realize until they carry something else for awhile. It's nice to be home..........

I've played a bit with the iPhone and iPad via a friend who has both. They are actually pretty good at doing what they were designed to do and I'm sure there are many people that just love them. For me, though I prefer the Droid X's ability to be customized and modded, plus the additional benefits of a user-replaceable battery, SD-slot, 8MP camera/camcorder, huge screen size, etc. It is just the best phone I've had and the few issues I've encountered have been relatively minor and not a hindrance for me in using the phone (i.e. batt mgr F/C that was fixed in 2.2.1 and occasional lag issues).

I love the X. The 4 has some good qualities, but for me, X is it. I just wish it didn't reboot/glitch out as much.
 
I know someone who regretted buying the iPhone 4, came from an Incredible. Was going to trade in the iPhone for an HTC Thunderbolt.
