I read on a FB comment that if you pull the apk and lib from one of the nightlys it will work so I'm going to do some experimenting tonight and see what I can get.
 
Back to UD 3 to see what's new. Was running CM 7 (w/nightlies), but it doesn't play well w/my LV 7 slot 1Ghz sapphire kernel. Any ideas on what works well with UD3 so far?

If someone could post a basic set of instructions for this, I'd be quite grateful.

Edit: I love UD, and can't wait until the final version is released, but in the meantime, I think I'm gonna check out Jeffv2's latest. I've been following his thread on DF and it looks like gps, accelerometer, camera, camcorder, light sensors, and 3G after calling are all working.

i keep getting launcher and browser FC's out the wazzu! I had the 1st RC installed, an installed #2 over it, and it didnt fix it. I guess i will try the old load from scratch, but i was hoping to get away without wiping.

His post says accelerometer is "kinda working", which suggests to me it works about as well as LGB's, which is not very well. However, the camera working is a big deal.
 
Well when I updated to the earliest UD 3.0 beta, the accelerometer worked, but just a little laggy. From some of the comments on the thread at DF, it looks like there are mixed reviews regarding it. Some say it's perfect, but others say it still doesn't work for them. I'm doing the first boot now and will put an update in the appropriate thread on here.

There's a "fix permissions" script you can run in the UD settings that often fixes the FCs.
 
RC2 is absolutely amazing. I can live without my camera for the time being (I really don't use it too often anyway).

The Droid1's a great phone, but I've had more than one opportunity to play with a Galaxy S, and if I had one I can't say I'd miss my old Droid. :P

Damn I wish I could afford to upgrade.
 
So my mod version says RC1. I redownloaded the rom once I saw that another RC was released. Does that mean that the first RC was called RC0 or do I have the first RC for some reason?

FLAC support doesn't need a custom rom or anything. Just downloading the app "Power Amp". That app alone supports FLAC, has the best interface of ANY music app on the market and was enough for me to sell my itouch because it worked so well.
