Root Think I just need to clear things up...

This will probably be an utterly stupid question and I have read the guides etc, but I think I just need a safety check with the more experienced guys hear.

Like a comfort thing :D

I am currently rooted using a MIUI rom but fancy a change to CM7. Now I would like to go S-OFF and install the custom H-Boot tables for CM7.

Will there be any problems with going S-OFF with Revolutionary whilst currently rooted?

Will it just be a case of S-OFF, install CM7, install custom H-Boot tables? (Obviously back ups along the way).

I am fine with the actual methods of how to do it all, just need to get the above spot on in my head before doing it.

you will probably encounter the proceedure not completing properly because you are not on a desire sense rom. aosp based roms usually dont have the exploit needed to s-off the device
