Hey guys, I am thinking about buying this phone from Amazon, the LG Optimus F7. However, its under the boost mobile service and I'm from South America, Guyana. Would this phone work over here on our networks, which are Digicel and GT&T (not very big networks x_x), after being unlocked or something? Can this phone be unlocked to work over here?

lol NO, this is a CDMA phone not a gsm phone so it cannot be unlocked to work on the carriers you suggest above.

Ah okay. I got confused because GSM Arena's specs on this phone showed that it has GSM.

The international once yes it is. But it's only sold in Korea.

I have a similar question, im new to all of this. I have a boostmobile lg optimus f7 and i wanna use it on another service. Is there a way i can unlock it myself using just my phone or a laptop at no charge??
