Root Third Wave

I am Running this with Hydra UV Kernel and am on about 14 Hours. about 4 Idle and still have 63% battery life. I am very impressed. I was using More PB&J and usualy at about this time id be in the 20s.
 
I bought a new extended battery to try and get me through a work day but its not helping much. I have a 2200 maH, fully charged at 2am, only got me to 9am before i needed to throw it on a charger. Thats longer then the oem battery but geez, i expected a full day actually.

im running third wave with 2.15 and king#3

Wow that's night right at all , similar set up on another INcredible and at the end of the day 6am -9pm it's still got over 50% left

I'm on stock battery with SkyRaider3.0 and King#3 and I"m at
17.5 hrs up
4.25 hrs awake
33% battery left

You've got a rogue app or something killing your battery, that just doesn't seem right at all

Find what app is draining your battery with "spare parts" then download SetCPU and copy the settings in the thread and you should see major improvments

Nice, looking forward to it! Will the name keep changing to "Nth Wave," or will it be 3rd Wave ver. X? And will it implement stuff from the actual official 2.2 OTA from today?

Adrynalyne, again thanks for your wonderful work! I recall you had given us a ROM i believe the beginning of August (looking at the file details it says 08-04 is when i grabbed it) this ROM included everything file was called new_leak.zip.


Anyway, my question is, do you have any idea what "wave" this was? 2nd, 3rd??

Looking at my phone the software number states 3.17.605.0, do you know if this is the latest ROM you have available? I want to upgrade, but I'm not sure which one is your most recent and stable version (which from what i've read most of yours are stable).

Still running second wave rom and love it, but if 4th wave contains whatever fixes have been found from the official ota update then i may switch it up again. Damn, i just got this one the way i like it!

Yeah I want to upgrade but then i think about all the apps and customizations i made and remind myself how long it will take me to get it setup just the way i like it.

Titanium Back up will even set up your scenes again, sometimes the widgets need to be replaced but everything else will be the same

Thanks, I'm running that right now as we speak, does it backup everything to your SDcard or do you have to pull it from your Sdcard and save it on your pc?

It will all be on your sdcard, make sure you get the paid verision or else it takes forever to reinstall everything. With the paid version you run the restore and everything is back to normal, even your text messages will be there . It's really a fantastic tool for the ROM Flashing Addicts like me

So do you know how you can tell if you are running the Second or Third wave?

Classes are going great, thanks for asking.

A little annoying that a prof decided to modify homework due on Friday, on Thursday at 9pm....
