I love my fascinate, it is great, but my inner nerd is really pissy about this. I do not really feel like my phone needs 2.2 to be functional, but I think we deserve the much needed update the 2.2 brings.

Between this and news that Mesmerize is getting Froyo early Feb I feel safe saying we are less than 30 days from an official 2.2 update now :rolleyes:.
Having said that there are alpha 2.2 rom's floating around though they are not 100% yet

i could see the mesmorize getting froyo soon and verizon still releasing it later....i just would really like us to get the .32 kernel soon for selfish reasons :o

i could really careless about tw 2.2 roms frankly...but im sure some will prefer them....im kinda on the fence about whether im going to port themes to 2.2 tw...i probably will but im not sold on it yet :o

id go with us...but the mesmorize may beat the captivate...which is great for the root (and soon to root) crowd

Well the fact that all this banter is occurring should actually make you :). Its coming. Word in irc today was "rumor has it" vzw's is done and now the roll out will begin "anytime" now. Grain of salt of course but as aforementioned I'd now put money on my less than 30 days comment above :rolleyes:
