This is by far the coolest app I have had!

I started to think about the thread about the phone getting stolen and I was thinking that it would be cooler if you could just access the phone from your computer or vice versa.
However with this app you can do much much more. I can turn the camera on, transfer files, make calls, anything that you could do if the phone was in your hand. Or say you get your computer stolen, then you can do the same thing through your phone.
I'm sure some of you have already used this type of app for android but I just thought it was amazing. Here are some screen shots of the app.

So here is my desktop for my laptop that I can access through my phone and do anything I could as if I were right in front of the computer.

Here's a pic of the actual laptop that I'm accessing through my phone.

the app is called teamview if your interested.

edit this is my linux OS that I got through my phone

I've never even thought to use an app like this. I've used remote desktops on just computers but I didn't realize that our phone was capable of doing it so well. There is hardly any lag. I love it :D

Lol yeah. Just as this app there are many other apps that we don't know about.!!!

Just curious, is teamviewer working with 4g?. Mine will work with wifi on but i think metro is blocking on 4g.
 
Thats awesome.. Use Logmein and Teamviewer via laptop to fix things when its easier then explaining to friends and family and work, but never even thought of that.. thanks for the heads up..

So, what app is this? You never do say (or at any rate, I don't see it in the write up if you do).
 
this is pretty kick a@@ i just tried it on my macbook pro the only thing is i think you need a wifi connection

thanks guys! I actually have been playing with it at work. That's weird that it only works for wifi because I'm using it right now at work which definetely doesnt have wifi lol.
 
Downloaded it and put it on my laptop as well. So far though, I can only get it one way; phone to laptop. I can't connect my laptop to the phone.

errrhn. the teamview app in market is just a client that lets you connect to others' service, so you could only connect to other teamviewer service host.
 
works for me on my Lg Esteem over 4G

i had to take a snap shot of it with helpful tips on startup so ya could see i was only using 4G at top and not wifi. ill also confirm it worked on my friend's indulge as well on 4G perhaps metro are blocking certain areas from using apps that consume too much bandwidth but for now here in tampa,florida im not finding any apps limited to wifi only just yet.
