Help This wifi issue

Can't imagine that it matters were the phone is bought as long as it is up to date on firmware... Mine is bought in Norway and the wifi su***.....

I have a similar problem to stu172. I bought my i9100g just two days ago, rooted it straight away, the wifi signal was good and connected easily. Then the next day I tried to connect and when it searches for hotspots it finds nothing, anywhere. I thought this might be a problem with my router but other devices can connect to it. I tried finding other hotspots.. nothing. Is this maybe a hardware problem? Do you think I should return the phone?

Try to forget all networks and wifi settings. Reboot the phone then try again.

Since you are rooted, you might need to re-flash the original firmware that came with the phone before returning it to ensure your warranty is intact. Also, you might want to post what kernel, modem etc... you use to root and maybe someone can check if issue with the rooting. I don't root so cannot advise in detail for that.

Cheers
