ok. i have backed-up using bootstrapper. i installed gummayjar (thanks...you know who) and didnt have the majority of my contacts. i went back to stock.

today, i installed apex. NO contacts showed up. once again, i went back to stock.

i thought i synced my contacts with google and i also used the backup assistance.

i want to go back to gummyjar, but i want my contacts. what am i doing wrong?

Log into gmail online, contacts there? On your phone, under accounts, make sure google stuff is syncing.

ok. backup assistance (the one in my accounts) says that they are there. gonna put gummyjar back on the phone. hopefully it will work

verizons backup assistance doesnt even show up in teh accounts. and the search continues. i did an import from the SD card, however, not all of them showed up.

So do you have all of your contacts listed online at verizonwireless.com under Backup Assistant? If you do, go to that page then export contacts as a csv file, then go into your gmail Contacts tab and import the csv file. Then sync Contacts in your phone under Accounts.
