Thunderbolt Launch Day Speculation/Rumor Thread

Hence, why I teach first-grade and know more about Transformers and video games than my students. My poor wife has to deal with our 4 year old and her husband, haha. :)

When I'm doing work against kids online playing Black Ops, I tell them my generation CREATED video games, so they better stop with the OLD MAN, business, lol.

Sorry for jumping in this thread late but is the thunderbolt gonna cost $300? That seems really high for a new phone.

From the way the (non) release has gone, it doesn't look like you are gonna be out of ANY money for the Thunderbolt

from what my manager buddy at a corp VZW said it looks like its going to be the same price all around. If it is I am going to stick with the iPhone 4. Its really a good phone. Just need some more freedom though.

I still think it will be $249 2 year and $329 1 year. Optimistic?
 
I don't think $300 is too high that the price of a 32gb Iphone4 and the Thunderbolt has 40gb plus a lot more on top of that .

I feel like $300 is the perfect price I was very happy when I heard $249 as I always thought $299 was what it would be when I found out it would come with a 32gig MicroSD and 8gig on board . Probablem is I already have a 32gig card ohh well

Hopefully that 32GB card doesn't do this

How long after the phone comes out will there be a price drop? I know it probably won't but a guy can dream.

I can't help but feel they are taking advantage of the iPhone pricing, equating the storage to being able to charge the same, among other things. Can't wait for VZ to gouge me on my plan, LTE and the phone...

And yes I am still holding out for the TB, but I am praying it will be $329 on a 1-yr.
 
What is the deal with this new rumor that the phone is coming with a custom Verizon red bike? This is beginning to sound really awesome. ;)

I am very close to bailing on the t-bolt. If it is not out by the 10th it will never be mine.
 
Yeah I've been waiting patiently but I am losing it. I've had the droid eris since launch and I am desperately wanting a new phone.
 
Okay, close friend of mine is a tester, had a TB a few weeks back, has also tested their MiFi, and dongles. (Side note: LTE here in [edit - where i live] is ridiculous... this is from the MiFi: http://www.speedtest.net/result/1179307163.png)

Anyway, he was just told by the VP of customer relations for [edit - some states] that the 10th is a go.

Take it for what you want, I know I'm just a dude on the forums, but I trust this source as fully as possible.
