Thunderbolt owner Roll call

According to verizon tele sales the 199 for two year price and 229 for 1 year price were mistakes and will be changed.

I don't know but I ordered mine and it will be here tomorrow. Sending an email to see if I can get the price adjustment after the fact as the three sales people I talked to wouldn't honor the price mistake.

I have screen shots so we shall see.

Okay, so if it's still "wrong" on the website, if you try to order it at those prices what happens? Do they collect the difference from you? Not sure I understand.

Have my Thunderbolt in hand! :-D Went to the nearby Verizon store that opened at 8am. Was 3rd in line out of 7. Unfortunately now I have to work for awhile, but will be playing around at lunch.

First impression is that everything FLIES on the Thunderbolt. Love the look & feel so far, and am getting a wonderfully strong 4 bar LTE signal while in my office at work.

Good luck to everyone else getting theirs later today or tomorrow!

Edit: The salesman wouldn't give me an exact number, but when I asked how many they had, he said LOTS, and he didn't think there'd be any shortage.

It's almost 7am here in Denver my local Verizon store opens at 9 were there lines on the east coast ??

I was planning on getting there at 830 , it's the main Verizon store in the center of Downtown Denver so hopefully they got a good stock. I called yesterday and they wouldlnt set an appointment for me or give me any information or even a hint on how many they were going to have

I missed the call from BB to set up an appointment yesterday cause I was working. I am headed there in 45 min so I can be the first one in the door. Hopefully there isnt a line, or there arent 10 people who made appointments before me. Ill let you know how it goes. Its the final count down:D

Greetings in the mile-hi city!! Grew up around there, so have many friends and fond memories. Used to hang out at the "castle" on the hill there in Westminster...do you know the place???

Good luck on the t-bolt - plan on having mine in about 60 minutes! :)

It's an awesome place to live. I don't know that place, I'm originally from Chicago I've only lived in Denver and Littleton outside of those cities and the summit county area I'm pretty clueless haha

Ugh, now I feel like I'm late to the scene, the lazy bastards at my Verizon store don't open till 10:00am CST!! Oh well, I'll have mine in hand before all the west coast mofos!

Just ordered mine online for overnight delivery by 3pm EST tomorrow. Online it was $199. The email I got this morning said $250. Screw that.. I have $50 worth patience in my pocket..

Jay for employees are we able to buy with our preorder or do we have to wait untill all other preorders are done?

I went to order online and the price came up as $239.99 for some reason. But I couldn't switch the upgrade so I called VZW. The gal was great, gave me the phone for $239.99 and also free overnight. Waiting on the tracking number and some reviews here.

No there were no lines here in Philly (only about 7 people) . I got there at 7:47 and the store opened at 8:00.

This phone is great. Speed Test so far on LTE:
PING 141 ms
Down 6381 kbps
up 39020 kbps (yes, that is correct)

About to hit the button online. Under $250 with some accessories and overnight shipping.

I want to hand my old phone (original droid) to my wife to replace her dying blackberry. Shouldn't be an issue to swap the phones out with the blackberry specific dataplan, will it?

sorry for the cross post, I also asked this in the verizon section. Trying to avoid going into a store. :D

So the price was $0.99 MORE online but you got free overnight shipping by calling and you're calling the CSR great? Wow she sure did pull some Jedi mind tricks on you!! :p "These aren't the discounted Androids you're looking for, you can go about your business....move along move along!"

No problem on the swap. Your online price is great, stay out of the store! It's only 24 hours difference. (I keep telling myself)

Haha, no you're missing the point. The online price was 239.99 and the call in price was 249.99 no free overnight. She just matched the online price for me which saved me $19 and avoided me having to mess around with switching upgrade lines. That's all I was getting at. She easily could have said, sorry pal got to get that deal online. And the website was so slow this morning too.

Just got mine! Got to Verizon 2 hours early like an obsessed psycho. Returned my iPhone and now I'm enjoying the 4G speed. I'm typing this from the bolt.
There was 4 other people with me when they opened. Got the extended battery. Navigation dock. Case. And screen protectors.

Got the T-Bolt but they were having hit or miss problems with activations when switching the phone to a new line. So I have the phone it's just not activated. VZ said it should be fixed in the next hour or so.

Also there was about 15 people all told who showed up for the time I was there.
