Thunderbolt screen protectors @ monoprice: less than $1

Yeah u get what u pay for. Plus I don't trust that site at all. I feel like the moment i put in my card info and confirm the order that my account is going to be drained and all my info is going to be spread all over the web.

why would you think that about monoprice? i've ordered from them several times as have others that i've known and we haven't had any issues. they are very reputable and their products have all worked for me so far. at first, sticker shock (the other way) is amazing, but like i said, so far it's all worked.

Monoprice is the first place I look for audio-video cables, adapters, switches, etc. Have purchased from them for years without a problem. Don't know about their screen protectors but the site is VERY reputable.

I was just joking since I have a hard time believing that they can sell the protectors for so cheap? I am very interested to see if anyone bought any of the protectors from there. I wanna know how the quality is

Haven't bought any yet (will next time I order from them) but bought some of the Incredible.ones a while back and they worked great. I've had nothing but good experiences with Monoprice.

If you want a great screen protector for cheap, check these out:

Amazon.com: KlearKare Bulk Invisible Screen Shield Protector for HTC Thunderbolt | Military Grade Scratch Protection: Cell Phones & Accessories

They are the same material as zagg, invisibleshield, etc. I have used both of those brands in the past and klearkare is easily on par with them in terms of quality. They just happen to be $3 instead of $20.

There's a couple alarming reviews about protectors being shipped without solution/applicator and no response after emails inquiring about them. I'm not in the market for one (Zagg has been on since purchase) but for people who are you may want to do your homework on these

The product description specifically states that it does not come with solution or an applicator. If people can't read, that is their own problem. Regardless, all you need is dish soap and a credit card to save yourself $17 vs. buying a zagg.

This is pretty sweet. I love Monoprice. I run my own recording studio and I order all of my cables from them. Why would anyone think Monoprice is a scam?

because of the cheap price. Its like seeing a brand new ferrari at one dealership that costs $200,000 then seeing the exact same one at another for $60,000. The first things that would come into my mind would be 1. the 200,000 is grossly overpriced for some reason or 2. there must be something wrong with the cheaper one i.e. car is a lemon, or they will get the money back that equals the 200,000 one maybe in very high interest.

I can't imagine these protectors actually cost more than a few cents to make.

I don't know about the protector personally, but Monoprice's cables are top quality cables, and they cost next to nothing. I don't know how they do it, but I swear by Monoprice for my studio. If you waltz over to Gearslutz.com, you'll see many people swear by Monoprice.

Oh ok, I didn't see that. I personally don't care about spending $20 on a screen protector that I've had great success with. To each his own

Check reviews on Monoprice. Almost always extremely positive. It is a jewel in an ocean of overpriced crap. I use them all the time. Besides, what's the down-side in trying a fifty cent screen protector. Upside is you might end up finding a new spot to save money.

I've worked in manufacturing facilities for years and can say with confidence that Monoprice makes a great quality product when it comes to their wire harnesses. I don't know so much about the other products, but I've ordered from them for about seven years now and never, ever had a problem.

Monoprice is 100% legitimate, I've been ordering from them for years.

Hey guys I just bought 2 of Monoprice's screen protectors for my TB. I had to get a bunch of audio cables so I was like heck why not get 2 of them for $1.60. My current protector (Splash Masque) is getting kinda scratched up so I'm gonna put the Monoprice one on soon. Will report back to let you guys know how it is, along with pictures of course :P

Cool thanks for that. I am very interested to hear how they are.

I received my screen protectors a few days ago and they fit and work great. Installation was perfect - no bubbles or creases and no edge lifting.

I chose the matte finish just to try it out and I'm not sure I like it as much as a clear finish but I have no issue with the quality whatsoever. Just a matter of personal preference.

Infinitely better than the crap ones I purchased @ the Verizon store when I bought the phone (poor adhesion - came off in a matter of days) and just as good as the Steinheil's I used previously.

I'm going to buy a few clear ones as backup and suspect they will be just as good.
