Help Tingy earpiece

I get a tingy or rattling earpiece when I turn up my volume on my evo even if it's half way up. Not all the time seems like lan line are fun but talking with other cells it not. Is this common or normal? Nothing else is wrong with phone only had it for a week.

no its not normal.

you could have trash/debris in there and/or the speaker could be damaged. there were a lot of complaints on earlier hardware versions of faulty speakers.

whats your hardware version?

has this "sound" been happening since day one?

Don't know what my hardware version is off hand. I have had it for a week noticed it a few days ago has not been dropped I baby the thing.

I took it back to Best Buy and they exchanged it new one seems to be working fine.
