So after scrolling down you don't see the options for calibration tool? You could try this:
Download and app called better cut from the market. Then on a home screen that has room for a shortcut click + then shortcut/ click on better cut. choose activity, this will take time to load. Scroll through the list till you find Keyboard Calibration and select it. Then click create. This will create a direct shortcut to the calibration tool. If that doesn't work then I would suggest a factory reset.

I accidentally imported all my Outlook contacts. I turned off the Outlook contact sync so it won't happen again, but I need to know how to delete all of these contacts from my phone. It makes scrolling through my phone for #s impossible. Help!

Do they show up on your Google Contacts page on the web? If so it might be easier to delete them there.

If you are in the main people app (the one that lists them all) you should be able to select menu/delete and then check all the contacts you want to delete.

.01 - The contacts that say Google will be on googles servers. easiest way to check this is to go onto google Mail on your computer and look at the contacts there and compair to whats on the phone.

.02 - Not that I know of. You need to add them yourself. If most of your contacts are on google then it would probably be easier to edit them on the web then on the phone.

I have a question on something I don't understand and I am not sure if anyone can help me or not. Using the main browser I go to this local radio stations website. www.wqmf.com and on there home page I click listen live. Works on Dolphin but on the browser that came with the phone when I click listen live it pops up asking me which program do I want to use to open it but my choices are messaging and handcent it's really weird. It's like they became the default for that action and I don't know how to fix it or if it can be fixed. I just want to click listen live and have the player load and start playing. I have dolphin but I usually just use the main browser. Thanks, Rose

EDIT: I was able to reproduce it, trying to figure a way around it. So far if I choose Handcent and then hit the back button it seems to want to load. but never does. Why not use Dolphin HD, It works hehe. ;-)

1. From the main screen hit Menu/settings/applications/manage applications,
2. Click on the All Tab
3. Search for Internet
4. Click on Internet and clear data, cache, and defaults
5. Close back to the main screen
6. Open the browser and goto that page.
7. (not sure if this made a difference) put the phone in landscape mode
8. Click on the listen live button and click internet for all the defaults and it should play. Did for me and didn't ask for messaging or handcent.

I guess I can use Dolphin but I am used to the regular browser.. I don't know why but I mainly use the browser that came with the phone. I like Dolphin also.. When I add a bookmark to the regular browser does it automatically show up in Dolphin? Are my same ones in both? I think I have that bookmarks add on for Dolphin.

I'm trying it now but it erased my bookmarks. :-( Maybe I should of just clicked on clear defaults and maybe cache and not data. Cause now I have to sign in to stuff again like FB and it's asking about remembering password again. I have my bookmark widget with several bookmarks so I can just open them up and readd and I'll get some of them back. Is there a way my bookmarks are maybe on a folder on my sd card or can I transfer Dolphin ones back to regular browser if there all the same. Thanks though for helping me!

Edit: Ok I tried it and it always ask me which browser I want to use cause I don't have a default one set up yet. But I chose the regular one and it asked me again two more times then went to the radiostation name/mediaplayer.com but it sounds funny kind of muffled it's weird.. And now it sounds funny on Dolphin. The advertisement plays clear then the song came on and sounded funny also. Somethings weird. I may reboot my phone. It p-layed nice and clear on iheart radio but somthings wrong now with the browser and listen live it's real slow and sounding so weird.

I think I do have Bookmarks to SD it was a Dolphin add on. I'll check. But I don't know if every bookmark on regular browser in is my Dolphon i'll have to check, I know some are. But it's weird how other radio station played fine but this particular one was muffled and funky on both browsers. Maybe it's just a fluke and there site is messed up but I forgot I had iheart radio and it played fine there. I heart buffers sometimes and goes in and out so I prefer the browser. But anyway I'll readd my bookmarks if there not on sd card. Thanks!

Us EVO Users have a sensor on the top of our phone that will allow us to do this. These tips are mostly for EVO Users. But I thank you for the info. If there is a sensor on the phone (usally the screen will black out when on a call and its held up to your cheek). You may want to check SDX- Developers to see if they have a way to enable it. The SDX Forum

One tip I found is that if you have Swype, you can go back and forth between Swype and the standard touch keyboard with a long press in the text box in which you will be entering text. It will then let you select your input method. Much easier than going through the menu.

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to make it so my phone doesn't auto-answer when I move my phone. Or when its dark in my room. Lately my phone rings once then answers regardless if I move or touch it when it is dark. When it is light my phone will answer if I move my phone at all. I don't put my phone in my pants pocket and I always have it in my hand when I'm out. Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I searched for quite awhile for settings for this and do not see any. Just curious did you load up an app called auto answer or something similar? Sounds like an app has taken over your calls. I will keep searching though.

Nope, I don't think so. Because android was developed by google, Gmail is intertwined with the OS. I am pretty sure it will be there no matter what.

The Google Contacts feature is pathetic. I need to list my contacts by company name, but Google doesn't allow this. Any idea if the Droid interface with Google Contacts can do this?
