Titanium backup question

Can you use TB to backup SMS, MMS, call logs and bookmarks only? I don't want to backup any apps or settings. Just the aforementioned data.

Try My Backup Root from the android market;)
I'd have to buy it. I used the My Backup demo when I moved from Sprint ROM to Fresh months ago, so when I install My Backup now, it installs fine, but won't let me back up, saying trial is expired.

I saw there is a specific 'My Backup Root' application that may be different than My Backup Pro or my My Backup. Same developer, new free app

There are also other apps, go to app brain, I saw a few yesterday when I was researching something

i believe handcent sms backs up sms and mms now, google will do your bookmarks, and your bookmarks... not sure if there google but i believe theres a backup for them in tb. just click uncheck all and click the ones you want to backup

I have a TB question, when I install a new rom and have done a full wipe, all my apps start to install by themselves, i have not even installed titanium backup yet. All my old apps install themselves too, but no app data. I hate it because my phone is lagging because it's installing apps for half an hour. Is there any way to stop this?

Yes - Don't allow Google to Sync for all data...
Read those first few pages AFTER you sign in.
 google is restorting your apps!

Keep in mind if you don't allow it to restore your apps the first time then the only way to allow your apps to be restored will be from TB, as Google allows the process once and only once on a new flash, I myself have always used TB, but the last couple of new flashes I have allowed Google to restore and I have no issues with it, I flash, sign in and let the phone sit and then check it 20 minutes later and ready to rock and roll, all that is left it to set up is my home screen and docks, voila !!!! ;)
