Root Titanium + SMS backup

All,

I did a minor screw up and did a full wipe on my Redux rom (not unusual for me - a bit of a "neat freak"). Full back up of system apps and data using Titanium but.. Forgot to back up my messages. Not a huge issue but still annoying nonetheless.
Is there anything on my full Titanium back up which would have encapsulated my messages? Its a long shot but worth throwing out there!

Cheers all

J

Not sure, but if there isn't just backup your current rom, restore your old, backup the messages, restore the new rom then messages.
Hassle? yes, but easy to do.
I know that Titainium backup pro can restore stuff from a CWM backup, but not sure about messages.

I don't think titanium back up restores messages. i use titanium pro to restore my apps when changing roms but i can't restore messages with it.

i use sms backup from the market to restore my messages.

The problem was I didn't do a Nandroid/SMS backup. I usually do SMS backup when wiping up phone then I can start from fresh and have my SMS.

Ah well. I'll live.

As Rasta say it usually doesn't work if you restore on a different ROM. But there's a lot of Redux in dGB, so you never know, it might work (e.g. I've flashed Redux2 over dGB without a wipe and it normally works). So it might be worth a try, but I'd take a nandroid first in case it fails badly.
