Root Tmobile mytouch 3g root failed now stuck on Welcome Touch Screen

Hello, I don't know if this is the right section but I've tried to root my mytouch 3g the other day and it bricked on me. It's now stuck on the Welcome Screen where I have to tap the android but the problem is that the touchscreen doesn't work. I really need my phone working so I've been trying to unroot it but unlockr.com link to NBH file to unroot is a deadlink. I've tried factory reset but that doesn't work either. Please anybody have the solution to this problem let me know so you can help others like me in this same situation.

Hi is there a forum for that device on here? Im not palming you off or anything but any advice is likely gona be pretty device specific so asking in a place where people have that device will get much better results :beer:
 
Sounds like you flashed the wrong ROM for your hardware and the touchscreen driver is incorrect. unfortunately i have nothing to offer unless you can still boot into recovery, which i am guessing you can if you tried factory resetting already. if you can try booting back into recovery and flashing a different ROM that is compatible you may get around the issue. you did make a backup before root attempt, right?
