Root To the DEVs: Is there a fix to the Market error when changing LCD density

With 200 I'm having problems with market updates but the way the screen looks is worth it, when need to update go back to 240 then return to 200 again.

well guys I have found a fix. Well a better fix than what I was doing. Previously I was just changing the density to the stock one then rebooting, then downloading my app... That was getting pretty annoying so I actually decided to go on the market to see if there was something worth trying.
I found this app called LCD density modder(I downloaded the pro version which isn't free unfortunetly) and all you have to do is follow about 4 steps and you have a permenent fix. Now I can download any app I want without any of the other junk I had to do. I hope this helps someone out because I love the way the phone looks.

Nice. But you could have use rom toolbox. I can use market normally. How much the apply costed?

I use rom toolbox to change my density but unfortunitely my market sometimes comes up with an error "your device is not compatible." So this app fixes everything perminately! I think the app cost either 1.99 or 2.99. One of the two.

Ohh. Well at least its working for the best for you . BTW you haven't change anything with build.prop editor right ?

Not sure if you guys were aware, but standard values are 160, 240 and I think 320, but i'm not so sure on that one.

Anyways, the point is that when you make apps you target particular resolutions (eg. 480x400) and lcd densities that accompany them, so if you use non standard values it may end up making certain apps look very different than they should. Not sure if 160 works on this phone but it's basically 1:1 pixels 100% Zoom, 240 means 150% zoom basically. It's a little strange, but If 160 works, in theory that should be the clearest one you can use.

Lol . 160 would be too small for our esteem as I already think that 200 is SMALL enough .

Also the app demar pointed out; LCD density modder pro really fixes the problem of incomparability that market is having

To fix the market error you need to have a native density. You could do 160, 200 or 240 (i don't remember if there are any other native densities). Alternatively, if you'd like to keep your non-native density they simply change to a native density, download the app of your choice and change back to your preferred density.

I tried with 200 and doesn't work but as you said go to 240, download and go back to whatever density you like.

Have you read my other thread on how to fix this if not then I would.
@nuttmeg, why? Everything works on my phone like it should ;)
