Just checked and it's not in there. He mentined it earlier and I went ahead and installed Handcent since I knew that it had the option. Looked at the stock app but never used it.
GUYS... YOU WILL NEED HANDCENT OR ANOTHER MESSAGING APP. SET IT TO SPLIT EVERY 160 CHARACTERS AND YOU'LL BE FINE.

Okay...
1. I put in my old Expira launcher in From CT 3.5 (MY Theme) cuz I knew The changes I had made (I removed Launcher2 from the system/app it didn't seem to remember that I chose NOT to lock home in memory), 3G is working fine after a few runs of V6 turbocharger (3 times was the charm for a noticeable change)
2. Wifi seems to be strong on everything except themes from MIUI site ( about 5 minutes per theme) but I only want one. The options menu works perfect in my case (went through every list and checked every/un-checked every box/bar.) for awhile there I thought My wifi was getting shut off:musicus:!
3. As for everything else I can't seem to find a bigger problem than the transparency is gone for any app besides what came with the ROM. I suppose its a mdpi/hdpi problem... Thank you for the rom its great!!
Edit: some important stuff after installing theme is blacked out, power options/ notifications menu.
Edit: Fixed I went to themes (on desktop) and reinstalled the framework that I could read, kewl thing on that note the bg color was only thing that changed , all icons were still themed.

I am trying to manually (fix) the 3g color (for now) cuz it bothers me... yet I cannot find the status bar .apk where would I find its components?? Anyone?
I'm getting lots of force closes especially with the keyboard from ctmod, so I'm using swiftkey x, and also from just being idle or scrolling through the screens, force closes for adw, I think that's what I have right now I was gonna point out the force ckose for the messaging app but I read through pervious comments about how it force closes. the force closes I'm getting are from Android.Process.Acore

Its a sync problem I'm typing this on my phone right now, I suggest a factory wipe and a clean install. Plus after first boot get katokernal cm7 .04 and flash that. AFTER BOOT! LOL you can over clock then.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but where is the customize?

He meant the theme icon that's on your desktop in original launcher. Its the theme.apk
Edit: I am sorry I meant the customize option does not do much you can scroll down after choosing your theme , and uncheck the lock screen and lock wallpaper if you are want. I just Use milocker from market.

Just wanted to pop in and comment on some things.....
I noticed in reading through this thread that all bugs and issues are pretty much the same as what B-love and I had experienced before he released the test version..so that is good thing.
My advice to anyone experiencing FC's other than known FC's is when installing the ROM, do the factory restore wipe data, wipe cache, then wipe dalvik, do this whole process 2 times. I have made it a habbit to do this when flashing ROMs just to be certain that it is a super clean install.
beta 0 v2 now includes the split for the stock msger...if this has been posted already, sorry didn't see it.

Hello again peoples. Sorry for not being around much today. Progress is moving albeit slowly. Why all the drama over the thread location. It doesn't bother me being moved over here so why is it bothering others. Be excellent to one another that's what bill says.

Huh works just fine for me... I just tested it cuz I read your post...MiLocker is a great app if you wanna change your lockscreen guys. Just remember that if you decide to use it, your option to reboot in to recovery can no longer be used. You will need to get in to recovery the old fashioned way. From a powered off phone... press volume-up +power = CWM.

I'm sorry I didn't mean to imply I'm running 2.0, I am not. I have been playing with this first one only so I could have a starting point. No I have CWM 5.0.2.6

Ok, it wouldn't work for me when I used Milocker for my lockscreen. It worked fine before I installed it though.

Okay I just ran a back up and flashed 5.0.2.7, and ran it too, all worked fine this is weird... do you think its something to do with CWM???

I'm wondering if we're talking about the same thing. I'm talking about pressing the power button when the lockscreen is on. The menu is supposed to drop down and does when not using MiLocker. This menu gives you the option to reboot plus several other options. When you choose reboot it gives you the option to reboot in to recovery. When running MiLocker the menu would drop down then go right back up. Is this what you are talking about? CWM would not have anything to do with that.

Yes I am, I just locked my screen, reboot recovery and performed a backup. do you still have your toggles to the side of your notifications bar? If so there is a switch somewhere to change it... and that is how I did it. It didn't work until I switched the toggles page off. Now the toggles are on the bottom of my status bar. And no matter where I hold my power button I can choose all options and they work
