Googled edify unfortunately don't have Android sdk set up yet. Seems easy though

Made the swap.zip flashable for you
I am going to test it to the best of my ability tonight, but others please give it a shot AND MAKE A BACKUP FIRST IN CASE IT BOOTLOOPS I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS YET

temp removed link

You da man thanks flashing now

Make sure you follow the instructions in the link to the original zip. It says to first create a swapfile on your sd... I'm reading up on it now... But the zip will install the files to the correct location

I'm not sure about the other zip, I'm looking into creating swap space right now (asked kouma and Google :D )

That zip does not create a swap file, it contains the same/similar files/file structure as the v1 script (at least is nothing like kouma instructions and others i have been looking at.

Mmm have you guys used swapper from the market to make the swap?

I'm going to have to change a few other things (mount point etc)
I pulled the link for a bit.
Keep in mind I'm on phone, away from home, so it's slow going :)

@faru that app puts the swap file on vfat post of sd. This currently mounts sdext as swap. I'm going to switch it to stl13 (internal data partition) since this ROM uses katokernel (which mounts data to sdext (mmcblk0p2) and /data isn't being used

This should mount /data as swap
And give you options to create different sized swap files
Just read the link in the original files, and run the terminal commands specified

BUT AS ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP FIRST
Sry I'm not kewl like kouma, no app

Edit- no dice, i will try again tomorrow

Also trying just app
would i have to make a 3rd portion? Like i did for SSM?

Not with the version i am working on. It will have two main options, swap on sd, And swap on /data. I have it working, but had to manually change permission to execute. I should get it worked out sometime today :)

Is the file just called swapfile? Also where should it be placed?
