Torrent client for D Inc.??

Downloading Torrents on my phone over wifi would be awesome. It would solve all of my needs with a single device. I looked thru the market but didn't find any free apps with a decent review. Figured I'd find something good here..
 
Meh....I don't download torrents with my Droid....I just use it to control my torrent download operations on my computer.

Oh, I totally see the need for having a torrent client on the phone. It's come in handy more than once, and works great when a computer isn't readily available and my immediate gratification kicks in.

I'm loving the ttorrent client, it's really stepping up my phones overall function.
 
I download m2ts movies to play on my ps3. They max at 4gb.. it'd be great to.just start one everynite before i go to sleep and transfer it over later.

My PC is tied up downloading the real big torrents..

How do you go about doing this? I can't see the need to download torrents on my phone but it would be nice to control my computer's torrents with the phone. Like if I hear a song/album I want, it would be nice to be able to start the download from the phone so when I get home its done.

remote. Not sure how to set it up on a home system, but I had transdroid with is an rTorrent remote, controling my seed box. I think it depends on the client your running on the PC. If your running uTorrent, you need a uTorrent remote app.

BTW I love Louie. You hear if there is going to be a season 2?
 
Nope, haven't heard if there is going to be a season two. I don't have the name because of the show but I do like Louis CK

I use Transdroid (Phone app) and uTorrent (PC Torrent Client). You setup uTorrent WebUI and than you setup Transdroid according to your IP address and uTorrent WebUI settings. All pretty straight forward.

Works fantastic. Wherever I am....I can access/manage my Torrents at home

You are the reason 10% of the population is responsible for 90% of the bandwidth, haha. But seriously, what is your typical monthly download amount?
 
I personally haven't downloaded any torrents to my phone but I do use torrent-fu and utorrent with the webui enabled. When there is something I want to download I fire up torrent-fu and it is down downloading when I get home from work.

I happen to live in an area surrounded by tall hotels, most of which broadcast open networks. Good enough excuse?? Probably not.... but in this day and age take what you can get...
