Root Touch panel fails to activate on random incoming calls

I've got an odd problem that I'm wondering if is a hardware or software issue...

Randomly on an incoming call, the "slide to answer" fails to work, in fact the whole touch screen panel seems to fail to activate (I can still answer if my headset is paired and I press the action button) This happens on the Sprint Stock rom, Cyanogen MOD, and my current rom (dont remember the name, but it's a Sprint ROM with Sense ripped out)

I dont have this problem when I turn on the screen normally, only when I get an incoming call and then it's randomly ~1 in 10 calls...

Ideas?

Yes, I use Overclocking Widget because it's free

Screen on: 245000-998400 (if I'm going to be using it a lot on low-load I set it to 700ish)
Screen Off: 245000

Its probably the low screen off thats causing it. Give it a range of like 245-422 so the CPU can scale up when needed.

Also, since the phone is rooted I will move this to the all things root forum. You have more troubleshooting options when rooted and will get root specific advice there.

Increased the clock rate for screen-off to 422, will see if this fixes it (might be a while till I know since it's random that it does this)

Thanks! :D
