Root touch screen problem

I recently rooted and started using velocity. Its been dope as hell but yesterday, all of a sudden my touch screen started acting weird. It barely ever responds to being touched and as a result i can no longer unlock my phone. Its really starting to piss me off because i cant do anything on the phone, nor can I open up ROM manager to boot to recovery or anything. Someone please help.

Thanks

You can boot into recovery manually.

Turn the phone off, then hold the power, menu and send buttons until the LG splash appears, your phone should now be in recovery.

i wiped and reflashed velocity but no go. im thinking ima have to call verizon or something cuz its prolly a phone problem as opposed to a software problem. any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated tho. thanks

yeah i tried that, but its okay I called verizon and am having a new phone shipped out to me. it seems that this is a rare problem in the android system. free of charge, thank god. thanks for your help anyway tho

Just reflash a clean velocity (full wipe) cos my screen stopped working. Weird.
Maybe it didn't like dalvik to cache.
