transferring stuff

Hi. My wife has just bought a S3 and wants to transfer everything from her S2 onto it. She has also changed networks from o2 to orange Is there a simple way to do this?
 
Does her s3 have an sd slot? I've heard some international doesn't have a sd slot. But if it does, just a simple swapping out sd cards.

If not, she could always plug in the s2 to a pc and transfer the files she wants to keep onto the pc, then plug the s3 in and transfer those files to the s3.
 
Do you mean apps or media mate?
Apps wont transfer in the sd card but when she activates the phone, logging into her google account, it should give the option to download all the apps she had on the previous phone (i think only over wifi?)
Or is her s2 rooted?
Is the s3 sim free or from a network?
