The problems the one person was having in there regarding flashing a recovery makes me wonder if they changed something or locked something down on theses data done right phones. Im not sure that they went as far as locking the bootloaders on them. But it could be if recoveries dont flash properly. Ive seen it before with the optimus v when they changed the screen driver of the phone on virgin mobile which bricked anyone who flashed a recovery. If the screen driver is different in this phone then the recoveries wont work. I wish i knew what was all different in this software where they cut edges and saved alot of money just using the regular triband software as the base.

I had this phone and we had to use hacked recoveries and new custom kernels to fix the black screen issue cause of the changed screen driver. Id like a hacked recovery again.
