Triangle away works!!!!

Try flashing the aosp jb kernel in the one stop. That may get rid of it since the boot image is in the kernel zips. But I really don't see why triangle away wouldn't work for you. I've used it maybe 10 times on the s2

Same here never had any issues with it..........:)

I wish I could say the same? I'm going to try the other kernel and see how it goes.

I guess im missing something here, i have never had the yellow triangle on a AOSP rom ever lol.... So i guess thats why im comfused here......

I have no idea why. I'm on pacman Rom. Sounds legit lol. So I'm either on the agat kernel from the root guide or whatever comes with pacman. Running el24 modem.

Tried the aosp kernel and it borked my phone. Had to restore a boot image from recovery.

Stupid triangle. >:(

The triangle only shows up when you use PC odin. It is easy enough to clear. Mobile Odin doesn't trigger it.

After I flashed in the kernel the first time when rooting it. I then used Triangle away to clear it. When I went to the TW Jelly Bean, I used the One click install, and that does not trigger it as it is writing all the phones partitions including the hidden one that the triangle stuff is part of. After that I have used mobile Odin to put in my recovery kernel. You do have to be rooted to use Triangle Away. If you are wanting to be unrooted with no triangle, you could flash a totally stock ROM like the old FG31 ICS.

Obviously I'm rooted. Why would I want a stock unrooted rom? bleck. I even tried installing another aosp rom and kernel. Nothing. I might go to stock just to redo the process. I just don't understand why this prog isn't working.

I don't know why this .apk isn't working for you. Are you sure after launching the .apk you're clicking on "Reset flash counter"?

Dude we all are just trying to help you out, just do what I suggested and then you will be good to go........

Not trying to be rude just objectively answering and asking, one would assume I'm rooted if I'm on pacman and probably don't want stock if I'm running aosp and trying to get rid of triangle. Mostly just responding so he knows where I'm at in the process in order to avoid receiving redundant information and him having to give it. I do appreciate the help.

Going to try what you mentioned in the pm later.

No worries man, cool give that a try and I did post up a link to a older version of Slim if you wanted to try it..... good luck......:D

If you use PC Odin to flash certain things, you can get the triangle. Also it works best if on a stock rom and kernel

didnt work for me....

What I ended up doing was flashing a stock repack and rom after making a nandroid of my system, using triangle away, and then flashing my rom and restoring nandroid data. No more stupid triangle and it reset the counter.

I just hated looking at that triangle and wanted to be able to reset in case I had any issues as I did pay for the insurance.
