Once I flashed cyanogen 7.2.0 to I haven't been able to fix my GPS. Reflashed different ROM's and reflshed 7.2.0....tried GPS status and tools...tried ##4772579# but that just get's me an operator telling me the number is incorrect. Any ideas??

You may have to make a nandroid of you current rom, flash a sense rom for the ##4772579# to work, then nand back to cyanogen 7.2.0
Read thru this, it may help

[EVO] CyanogenMod 7, GPS fix,PRLs and HTC Sense : Android

There is another link that I've seen ocnbrz give out, but I cant find that one:)

well tried flashing two separate sense ROMS and every time I plugged in ##4772579 when I got to the last # the numbers disappeared and I couldn't type anything else in

Try the MikG v3.11 rom. I personally know that will work. Use the Full Wipe version, not the Update version... MikG v3.11 [3/9/2012])
I don't know what sense roms you tried but,
Some 3.5 sense roms do not work.

Download was a success, ##GPSCLRX# was a success, fixing the GPS still a fail...don't know what else to do, I've tried all the different drivers, done the GPSCLRX, tried reflashing the roms, used different ROMS...my GPS is officially dead! What gives??!!

I had that happen too a while back. has it ever worked?

Think I even powered down and pulled battery for a while.

I went through about 3 sense roms, used gps test on each, went into that apps settings menu and cleared and request agps data, or whatever it is. finally got it to work, saved that app with TB. Went back to my aosp rom and it was working.

it definitely was a pain in the A$$!

On a sense Rom download and install the app called gps status. Open it up and get a lock with it. You should be able to use the tools menu to download GPS assistance data as well.

Then back up the app and data with titanium.

Go back into your cm and restore the app and data.

This solved the problem for me
