Root Tried installing apex....stuck at the pulsing apex screen

Just like the title says i tried flashing apex and its stuck at the pulsating green apex screen. Used the bootstrap to load into clockwork recovery cleared the cache through clockwork. Everything seemed to go okay from there but now im stuck on this screen. Rooted .605 droid x...

You can try doing a factory reset/data wipe in stock recovery. To get into stock recovery, press and hold Home when powering on phone.

did you wipe data or just cache before flashing? you will most likely need to boot to stock recovery and do a system restore to clear data/cache

So I really needed my phone today and used the sticky above to sbf back to stock .602...

I used the clockwork recovery mod to wipe data/cache and dalvik. I know you have the option of doing this after you select install new rom while your phone is already booted in the rom mamager app or while your in the recovery mode right? I pressed wipe data/cache after I pressed load custom rom from sd card from the rom manager app. Then it went into recovery and I tried loading up apex 2.0 rc4. Google screen went to the apex screen and it just sat there for like 25 minutes on the apex load screen.

I lost track but it was AT LEAST 20 minutes but prolly closer to 30. I knew it would take a while so I was actually do my sunday chores while it loaded. Would it matter if the phone was plugged into the wall for power?

Shouldn't matter, the phone doesn't charge until the rom loads.

Could've been a bad download, I've had problems with installs before, especially when the download was very slow. You can try deleting the downloaded file and redownloading it. Compare the MD5 checksums if given as well to see that you got a good download.

Umm ok kinda weird, so i tried apex again. Same thing, stuck on the apex logo for almost 30 minutes. Figured I failed and pulled battery put it back in. So im reading again about sbfing and the phone was booting and i didnt even notice. Now it just booted into apex and appears to be working fine but well see.
