I just got the dark tremor a2sd and it said I wasn't partitioned. So I went in to storage and there wasn't any option too. Also said I needed scripts

did you flash dt? and where did it say that it was not partitioned? how big is your partition? did you do ext3 or ext4 partition? you can see better what your partition is by using titanium backup.

Flash dt? If I have to flash I'm just going to use another a2sd. I haven't partitioned for SD, I was going to but there doesn't seem to be an option to under storage or applications

you need to read the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. go to the after root section. it has info about partitioning and how to do it. i suggest that you read it first before you do anything.

sorry can't remember if cm7 has a2sd built in or not. i believe that it does not so you will need to flash dt first. there is no true app that moves the apps to the sd card. and there is no app that partitions your card. that is done in recovery.

read the guide. it should answer most of your questions. if you still need answers then by all means please ask away.

Guess I'm going to pass on partitioning for now. Don't feel like doing a reset and all that for the 5th time this week. Maybe when the next cyanogen mod gets released

You shouldnt need to do a reset on anything. You just back up your SD card to a computer, partition it, move everything back, flash dta2SD and you are good to go after doing a reinstall command from terminal emulator.

You dont lose any data

it is only recommended that you wipe after partitioning. you can still partition it if you like. just skip the rom flashing part as i think you will still need to flash dt in recovery as cm7 does not have a2sd built in.

I highly recommend partitioning as long as you have a fast SD card.it really doesn't take that long to backup the SD card anyway.
