Quick simple post. iv got the wildfire s an the old desire. iv just updated the desire to 2.3 ginger. but what do you guys think is the better phone? This aint a troll war post its a real case of im not sure whats to keep. as 3 sent me both..
now i dig the Desires bigger amoled screen its sharp as a pin an the speed is 300 horses more than the WFS but i like the smaller feel of the WFS. Also It seems to run out of space real quick. i can only install a few apps an its full where the Desire seems to let me install lots of app but they both have the same amount of ram?? i cant figure that out... so guys can you tell me what you think is the better phone an why. not just based on the snapdragon.

its still android so either is good as long as its functional and has a good mod community.
i like the bigger phone, the faster cpu and the fact the desire has a huge mod community that has taken development of the old flagship device further than any other android in history (to date)
the desire is htc's true success story even though it has space issues.

wildfire is a good phone but a bit too small for me

Thanks Rastaman. I think ill stick with the desire. do you think i made a goof loseing 20 megs of system ram putting 2.3 on it??? its not rooted btw. Also can i put it back to the original 3 stock rom if i want to ?? im realy fancying the new moto razor... hmmm kevlar an gorilla glass lol proper james bond phone. wonder if its cherry bomb proof one more question before i buy a new case for her. is it possible to get a bigger battery so i can get some more runtime. will it wreck the phone adding a bigger bat ?????

The desire was flagship, top end at release. The wildfire was towards the bottom of their range and the s looks nice but the specs are no better than the original.

I'd personally go for the desire on every level

I will say having played with my mum's wildfire, it did prompt me to put on 2.3 sense rom that leedroid did HD 3.3.3 I think it was...just to play with some of the feature she had that I didn't...well I did, but they just looked nicer on sense......that last for a day, then was back on GV lol
