Im not doing factory reset but yes to everything else

You CAN NOT go from an AOSP build to a sense build and vice versa without wiping data.

Well, there's your problem.

Wipe data prior to flashing your Sense ROM, follow my instructions regarding GPS and Network Location. Then flash your backup.

During restore it will wipe everything for you.
