i already had it rooted running brokenout but went bk to stock zva after having issues and ended up not rooted... now im trying to reroot and keep getting a failure to connect... after being prompted to press any key to continue

do you have s-off?

check out this page it gives u good ideas on how you might have gone wrong. if its a software issue. That's where i go first anyways.

this phone doesnt have s off lol.

Make sure you have the LG USB drivers installed on your pc and debugging enables and internet connect set for the usb mode on the phone.
