Turn off ding for volume buttons

Is there a way to stop any sounds from being played when pushing the volume buttons? I've never understood why you would want that feature on ANY device, especially when there's no visible way to turn it off. If I'm in a silent situation, I want to quickly turn off/down the volume WITHOUT making sounds.

Any lockscreen widget that will give me this functionality, or something that will take away the volume dings?

On my phone the widget is just named profile. Have you seen one with that name?

Which phone do you have? Maybe we have a forum for it and someone can help you out with that.

Any kind of app such as power control, or extended controls will do this for you, just simply unlock the device and select the vibration toggle and thats all you have to do. no sound will be played from that.

If you just push and hold the down volume button it will quickly turn itself all the way down without making any noise
