turn on????

can this phone be turned on with the battery out and just the charge cord on it? I am trying to debug a prob b4 i involve Verizon with it.

nope. i tried this when i got my replacement. i was hoping to just have them both side by side so i could reconfigure my home screens the exact way they were.
