Turn your ally into a win7 phone...

Anyone else having a problem with widgets/custom buttons not showing back up after a reboot? I was using switch pro, battstat, and digi clock and now they don't even appear under the add widget list.

Make sure the are installed on your phone and not your SD card.

I'm tryin' Launcher7 and I'm not really digging it. Maybe I'm missing something. Seems too confined, not very tweakable! But hey, have at it!

Ok, alright, Please allow me to retract!! After tweakin' around with it, it's pretty cool actually!

I like it. Not because it's WP7, but because it's simple.

I miss the option to add a single contact for direct call or SMS

I would also like a way to organize apps better, so I don't have to search the whole app drawer or add all apps to the frontpage.

I like this...really like this. My issues? I would so prefer to have that little menu arrow in the top right corner somewhere else, for some reason, it bothers me that the icons are off-center (maybe i'm just ocd?!)

Other than that, to be able to have more than one homescreen or at least add shortcuts (not widgets) to the screen for individual contacts as has been mentioned before would be the only other improvement. Otherwise? awesome!

Several homescreens would actually be really cool. It might look like WP7, but no one sais it cant be more than that. Would make it even better with that option.

I would also like the option to move the arrow to the middle/bottom and ofc the shortcuts to contacts.

as for direct dial and direct messages on the home...use Desktop Visualizer.
add widget.
choose the desktop visualizer widget.
create the tile.
now tap the tile and it brings up DV options.
under the launch button choose other and theres a list of
all kinds of stuff.
