Root Turning S-On

OK. So I recently rooted my Incredible using UnrEVOked 3, and it was great, but if something were to happen to it, I would be screwed (cuz the warranty has been voided). So, I unrooted it using the PMB31IMG.zip file and then now it's back to stock. The problem is, it's still on S-Off. I've seen some files that are supposed to be able to turn S back on, but I can't apply them because I no longer have clockworkmod. I can still boot into recovery, but the only options are apply update.zip, reboot system, clear cache, and wipe data/factory reset. So, I was thinking, what if i found one of the files that can turn S back on and just rename it update.zip? Does anyone know if this would work, or alternatively, if there is any other way I could turn S back on. Thanks!!

Is it even worth it though, I mean will Verizon check my security if I have a problem and need to send it in? And would I use UnrEVOked forever or 3?

In all likelyhood, no. They probably won't check it. If it boot up with a different flash screen into a completely different rom, that's a different story. But I know if it was me, I'd want to go COMPLETELY back to stock to avoid being charged sticker price for the replacement. However, the whole process is easy enough that I wouldn't worry too much unless you have to return the phone.
