varun.chitre15

Android Expert
The amount of bricking case is just rising nowadays and the reason behind it is still under the black cloth, some think its due to wrong scatter file and there are many users out there who are eager to flash the recovery. But still there is workaround for it which is safest amongst all

Spoons and Forks needed-
1. Micromax A75 :p
2. Root access
3. Stock ROM/UB-1(This doesn't matter but just for a safe side)
4. Terminal Emulator from here
5. Recovery image by me from here
6. flash_image binary from here
7. Any Root explorer

Procedure-
1. Extract the flash_image binary to your sd card( Don't extract it in any folder, extract it in open that is root of sd card
2. Copy that extracted flash_image binary file to system/bin using root explorer and after that long press on the same file and select permissions and a dialog box will appear with few empty check boxes, tick all the check boxes and tap OK
3. Now place the recovery image in sd card( keep it open and not inside any folder)
4. Fire up terminal emulator and type
Code:
su
and press enter and grant the root access
5. Then type
Code:
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
and press enter
6. Then type
Code:
reboot recovery
and press enter and this will take you to new recovery!!

Advantages of this method
Safest method
Disadvantages of this method
Needs root access

Done!!
If you face any problems, post it here and I will be happy to help

I don't wanna end up bricking the device Cos I don't get time to visit service center

File manager! its free, its got the root-explorer inside it. Its also the file explorer that varun has given us a flashable zip of along with jetmod 3. Enjoy

Try pressing the Home softkey bro....sometimes it works. Or, u can restart the phone to try again.
