Any news on if the 2 will have MHL output?
I was very disappointed to find that the One doesn't.
Does anyone know of a wired way to connect my opo to the TV?

Without MHL, I don't think there is.

There is still a chance. USB type C has HDMI out compatibility.

I've since bought a cheap Android TV box so all is good with the world (other than a couple of streaming apps not working as they claim it's rooted when it isn't grr)
