Root [TWEAK] Boost Your 3G Speeds Drastically!!!

Im running it and for me there was a slight increase depending on the weather,peak time or non peak time or where you are and what tower your hooking up too!

Put file on your sd card
Get script manager from market
Run the file on your sd card with script manager make sure you press the su Icon
When the script done executing Make your choice Then reboot
 
if you guys are running cm7 or CTmod you dont need to install 3gturbocharger..
it add lines to your build.prop to increase speeds..
CTMOD and cm7 both have all those built into it already. so you would be adding those twice witch i wouldn't advise. It would probably cause a negative effect if you do install it.. the only thing you can do is run the 3g/4g optimizer tweak and thats it..

Edit: 187 has those built in as well...

Well DUH!
I must have forgot that ...Ive been running cm7 so longs ya forget whats in it! LOL
No wonder when I stoped zepplins 3g tweak on my phone I got better results.
this 3g/4g optimizer isnt making too much differance either.......sux
Living out in Amish land dont help either!

I tried this on miui and it seemed a little slower. when I removed the script and the 3g/4g app my speed went back up.

The only thing that has helped my speed and signal is changing prl .

Yup. I just changed mine to the newest one and noticed a difference. :D

Not the new baseband, I'm running the newest PRL (12121). :D

I didn't have any luck but bad luck w/ FA19.:afraid: I MEAN IT WAS TERRIBLE. :eek::thumbdown:
 
when you look at prl's differences unless there differences in your SID any prl with your SID should work same right? looks like all prl updates do is add locations or channels that don't apply to our phone or service. so any prl listing my SID or channel should work same right?

most of those list my SID and doesn't have changes in mine specifically. so none of those better than others? updates just add locations for other services?

i am still on the stock 61007 that came with phone and works great except for dead spots which might be 3 miles long and then all is great again. also i use network booster, which i have pulled over and had no service and then used network booster and then had great service and never even moved??????? explain that???? i mean no service with the x and ran app and had good 3g and all. also i live in south central fla near sebring race track.

it recalibrate which towers you use so pretty much it changes which boost towers you are linked to

makes sense, since when i do that and then head back near home will loose signal and then run app again and back to full service again:D:D:D. well it works for me!!!!!!!
 
changing dns servers to net.ppp0.dns1 8.8.8.8 and net.ppp0.dns2 8.8.4.4 made a difference for me in cm7 u just edit ip-up in system/etc/ppp and set permissions to r-x r-x r-x and turn data off then on
