Putting this out for anyone that wants to try it. I came across this a few days ago. I installed it on my phone and it seems to run and boot a bit smoother. I do not know if this will work with CM7, as I am not running it currently. I do not claim any responsibility if this messes anything up on your phone, but I will try to help you in the event something does. I am not the creator of this mod, I am just pointing it out to the Prevail Community. I can not guarantee that this will work with every phone and/or Rom.
MAKE A NEW CWM BACKUP BEFORE TRYING THIS!!!!!!!!!!
To insatall:
-Download ICS dalvikvm binary here: [Tweak]ICS dalvikvm binary on Gingerbread - xda-developers
-Copy dalvikvm.zip to the root directory of your sdcard.
-Use your file explorer to extract the dalvikvm file from the zip.
-Move the extracted file to your /system/bin/ directory and reboot.
First boot will take a few minutes. It took about five minutes or so on my phone.
