Two questions about TapFish

Raynoldsk - I'm still not getting it. How do you find the Jackspot spin??

Edit:
Never mind....I got it. It's supposed to update automatically but it didn't. I just downloaded the update and received the Jackpot spinner.

That's pretty lame. I spent a lot of time on themed including color tanks that only I can see?

Like getting 90+% using only one color decoration for instance. Guess I'll just take pictures of all 23 tanks upload them and put the album link in my sign or something.

Yeah, but we can see your old tanks that YOU can't see, apparently! :p

Yeah, Droidros--it will pop up by itself now, in 24 hours, when you start the game again.

Mindbenda, is oje of your tanks named "Bourbon" and full of anthias?

I got a Fishbuck on my "day 1" jackpot spin, then I spent 25 fishbucks each to buy Jackpot Spins...got a couple of the new starfish

I also went in and gave names to my tanks that were just named "Tank ##" to try and describe them to some extent, especially since some tanks are seemingly random bred fish

I'm looking forward to these mystery tanks and limited breeds that are hopefully coming to the game soon

Also we all know a tank is limited to 50 total fish, consisting of up to 25 different breeds

What I didn't know but noticed earlier today, is that there is a limit on the number of different types of decorations you can put in a tank, and that limit is 12 different types of decorations. I added all 11 deep sea decorations to my tank thats just the deep sea fish, I added an Aquatic Topiary plant, one of the 3 deep sea plants, and wasn't able to add Cypress or Parsley because I got the "Maximum 12 different types of decorations per tank" message

fyi

The Mystery Breeding tanks are definitely my favorite. But they are also the most frustrating. If there are eight breeds to get a trophy, you may have to breed more than 20 times to get all the breeds, and you don't know for three days what you are getting :D. Sometimes I use Saxon words.

I didn't know that about the decorations--thanks!

I finally got a tankful of eagle damsels sold: 6,690,626 coins.

Takes a while, but if you already have the parent fish it is free money.

(Still working on the Android tank. I don't have as many breeding tanks in there so it is taking forever)

Nope. The borbonius tanks were just dappled "Big Money" I believe. But it's possible. If I restore I'll get those back I'm sure but I like my new tanks.

I just noticed another new feature. You are notified when somebody visits you and you are even awarded coins and XP when they clean your tank and feed your fish!! (Thanks, aaazian.) :D

Also, they fixed the annoying click on the wallpaper.

However, is it my imagination or are they forcing you to have to clean and feed more often? I don't remember having to feed green snappers after the initial feeding if I sell them the same day. But today, after having fed two tankfuls of goldfish before selling them, I find a tankful of hungry green snappers. I thought that it was just goldfish that needed feeding more often, but it's not.

Does anybody know/understand the feeding schedule of various fish? I haven't figured it out.

I *thought* fish only got hungry once a day, and if you didn't feed them for two days they died.

But I have been mistaken before and will be again, so this may be one of those times.

I keep food bricks in "selling" tanks, because it is such a pain in the behinder to feed them all:rolleyes:

Hmmm...I wonder if a fish gets hungry in the time it takes them to become adults? And since green snappers are 4 hours, maybe they get hungry every four hours?

Mindbenda, then I am not seeing your new tanks, at all. Maybe temporarily change the name and we can try again?

Kribs make such a pretty tank. Much nicer than cudas. Wish they were worth more than them, or grew quicker, so it would be more beneficial to raise them.

I just cleaned all of raynoldsk's tanks and fed the hungry fish in the first two tanks, hopefully you get rewarded with some coins and XP

Another thing I noticed about the new update, if you go to a neighbor's tank and they have dead fish in it, you can revive them (one at a time) for free! I don't know if theres a limit, but cool feature.

That would be cool if it really revived the fish! However, we had found out previously that feeding your neighbor's fish and cleaning their tanks doesn't actually make any difference. I don't know whether that has changed with the new update. At least now the neighbor gets something out of it and it's quite a few coins and XP, not just 2.

Anybody got any dead fish they want reviving? I'll go and revive them and see if it works.

Well, that's what I mean. Up until today, I don't remember having to feed my tankfuls of green snapper even if I don't sell them immediately after 4 hours. It seemed I only had to feed them the next day.

Also, the tanks seem to need cleaning every time I look at them. Ugh. I can't afford an algae eater for every tank. I have one in my two precious tanks that contain the fish I bought with fishbucks.

Yeah, these fish are like pugs--always hungry!

Thanks Akwatic! They appreciated it, but they still wanted Mama to feed them. Big babies.

I do hope the revive sticks, though-- that would be great.

Oh, wait!

I had the screensaver on, so it didn't register Akwatic's visit.

When I went back in it gave the the message and the points.

I bet if I hadn't had the screensaver on the fish might have been full.

I have to say, so far, I'm really liking the update. The daily spin gave me 52XP and another person also fed my fish and gave me another 32XP.

I returned the favor and fed his/her fish. Then went and revived the dead ones. There is a limit - I didn't keep track of how many I revived - 10 at the most. Then it told me I had reached the limit and could return after 24 hours. I hope the fish are actually revived. It didn't earm me any coins or xp.

I did change my name. Still didn't work.

These are all of my tanks.

Mindbenda, I'm going to delete both antars and mindbenda from my neighbors list, then YOU try to add me back (TreeTank) and maybe that will update the tanks on my end?

Still see your old tanks

By the way, I attempted to revive one of the dead fish on your 'Fave Mix' tank and got the message "This neighbor is playing an older version of the game, which do not support neighbor revive feature."

I guess thats because your old tanks aren't synchronized with the newest version of the app, but maybe that error message can help figure out the old/new tank issue, I don't know
