Two questions about TapFish

Wait yeah I got rid of it and restored with titanium backup.

I also shot them an email I'll know in a few days if the devs can fix it.
 
Hey, if you feed your neighbors' fish and clean their tanks, not only do they receive coins and xp, but they actually get their tanks cleaned and their fish fed!

Thank you Jammyluke and Obeewan for helping me keep my tanks sparkling and fish happy, (as well as adding to my coins and xp). :p I am returning the favors whenever I can.

The spinner gave me 1 buck today, which was very nice, too. Well, come to think of it, I'm not sure whether it was the spinner because when I pressed claim, it didn't give me a message immediately telling me what I had won. Afterwards, it said I earned a buck, but maybe it was because I downloaded TapRanch (?).
 
And thank you, Droidros, for tending mine. It did stick.

I have noticed that some fish have the Feedme signon, but if you click on them it says they are not hungry. Must be a glitch.
 
If I ever get my new tanks showing I have a tank just for people to feed and revive. I still hate algea so it's a star in there. Also I got a email from the devs.

Anybody getting the no internet message? I haven't been able to get into tapfish for about an hour and I'm connectedto the internet.
 
Yeah--it has to be their server, since both platforms are doing it.

They did that the other night, but it came back in a couple of hours.
 
Mindbenda, I just got a message (when I logged in) that 'antarsrsb' had logged into my tanks and cleaned/fed or done something

But still, when I went to you tank 'MindBenda' I got your old tanks

I often pride myself (based on my work experience) on understanding computer and phone hardware and software issues, but I'm clueless as to why we can't see your current/new tanks

I wish I had a clue about why we see your old tanks, but thats still what I see

They are one of the "limited breedables" in Tapfish2. You can only breed them with their specific partner, but you get a variety of offspring from the two fish rather than just one.

I got one last time as the jackpot spin, and was hoping to get one this week, but got a football instead. A football. Really? That goes well in so many underwater scenarios...

I bought the golden gourami in a fit of platform blur, then ran to breed him and...ooops!

But he is not in the Tapfish2 fish store, which is where he belongs, so I really think it is a mistake.

The starfish are neat. I use them for algae eaters in tanks where I am not farming the stock. There is a trohy for the. On the other platform, but it is just for buying all four of them and the coin one is like 5 million coins, so good luck with that idea ;p

I've been thinking about the football and I've come to the conclusion that the only fish that could use one would be an octopus, maybe a squid. They'd make great receivers-not sure about the passing though.
 
Yeah I changed my name back to AntarRSB it is what it is I suppose. I'll find out within a few days or so I'm hoping. For now I'm just finishing up my colors. I have black, blue, pink, purple, red, and yellow so far. Breeding tanks for, anglers, rays, blue spotted, goldfish, and bumble bee. Think I might do one I didn't have before. Maybe power blue tang or butterfly. Maybe flashlight and glow...

I shouldn't have grunted about the football (even though I am counting on that golden gourami this time in TF2 because you can't buy it there) because I clicked on it to move it around and it sold for 3500 or so coins.

So, bit a complete loss at all =)

The only way you can update your game onto our servers is to surpass the highest level game you played on your device. Our servers only save up to the highest level and your current game is saved locally on your device. We sincerely apologize for the inconveneince.

My previous game was level 80. So I'm gonna drop my level to 79 then level again and it should catch. Or my game is forever over so here goes.

Done so check AntarRSB and tell me if you see the old or new tanks.
 
I still see your old tanks, but it might not immediately update the servers. I remember my buddy telling me he accidentally sold his Sailfin Tang, and I went to his tanks and still saw it, but the next day I went to his tank and it was gone, so there is some type of delay I believe.

I'll check on it later.

the one thing that I think would probably work would be if you restored your game (from within Tapfish), which would restore your old tanks to your phone. You'd have to change them all around which would be a pain, but I'd imagine it would be one way for you to at least access the tanks everyone else sees.
 
by the way, the Giant Barb breedable fish is available even though the popup when you open the app mentions the new Deep Sea fish

I've got all the breeds growing in my Barb1 and Barb2 tank...Barb2 is 17 of the breeds, and Barb1 is the other 17 breeds, mixed in with some Cookie Cutters and a few Sailfin Longnoses

also MindBenda I still see your old tanks but I'll check after tonight's update since maybe thats when neighbor's tanks update as well?

If it still doesn't work, I was thinking maybe you could restore your game from the Tapfish servers like I mentioned above, but maybe copy some of the SQL cells from your newer tanks, and once you are back on your old tanks, you can maybe paste the copied data so you won't have to re-do everything? just brainstorming
 
AntarRSB, you know all of your tanks are dead right? I'm probably late on this, my macbook is being repaired so I'm on my phone reading the forums and it's been kinda a pain in the butt.
 
Also thanks to TapRos for the coins and xp, I think I'll hold off on adding a food brick to my Tank 1 / Skid Row tank so people can feed those fish if they choose...if they die I'll revive them with fishbucks, no big deal

Obee, AntarRSB has had some issues getting his "new tanks" to show up for everyone else, as the dead fish you and I see are in his "old tanks"

Obee, what is your tank name on Tapfish?
 
Oh, thank you for the clarification! My name is ObeeWan. What is yours? I may have added you as a friend earlier.
 
Oh and btw, do any of you have yourself as a friend on your friend list? For some reason I do.. And when I click on it, of course it's my tanks, but the game sees me as my own friend, if that makes any sense. Like, I've gotten coins and xp for cleaning and feeding my own tanks through my friends list..
