Root Two questions for MIUI 1.8.5

1. Which is the RECOMMENDED Kernel for MIUI 1.8.5 and the link to it?
2. I don't see Arabic text support on MIUI 1.8.5. Is there a way I can add this?

Not sure about Arabic text, but you can use LorDmod's UE kernel for MIUI. Just make sure you choose the BFS version, not CFS.

No idea if it works. I don't need Arabic translations and don't run MIUI but just make a backup of your current setup with clockworkmod and flash it and see what happens.

If it works = great if it doesn't = at worst restoring your backup. There is nothing there to state it is specific to one phone or another.

LordMod is recommended as CFS only, on MIUI

MIUI users - maybe it's better to use CFS version, and remove libsqlite.so that is located in /system/lib/ of kernel.zip file before flashing!!!

I use MrGarak's MIUI as it comes with LordMod

Can u send me a link to it? Actually the battery life on 1.8.5 does not look very attractive. I have got 9% left after a full charge about 11 hours ago and I'm on the stock kernel with 1.8.5. How can I make it better? Does this kernel you have mentioned do any good to the battery life?

Just flashed the new MIUI 1.8.12. But the kernel shows as the same which was in 1.8.5, there's no LordMod kernel.
