Hi there,
I have an unrooted Ascend and I have notice that when my friend txt me, most of the time I don't get her txts but she gets mines...I am not sure if this is due to a service prob (metro pcs....who never know anything) or due to the fact that the phone needs to be upgraded...

Someone just had a similar problem. They had a antivirus app on that was blocking their messages. If you have an antivirus app try removing it. If not than i am at a loss.
