hello folks
i have recently become an owner of a HTC DESIRE on O2
1. MY PHONE DOES NOT NOT ME UPLOAD VIDEOS RECORDED ON PHONE TO FACEBOOK... ... PHOTOS ARE FINE

2. I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE LATEST UPDATE FROM HTC ONTO MY PC (with great difficulty may i add) BUT CAN'T GET IT TO SYNC WITH MY PHONE......

3 . HOW DO I UPLOAD / DOWNLOAD TO/FROM PC


if anyone can please give a couple of minutes and try and help me out with clear & simple instructions that would be great

1. you cant upload videos to facebook using the facebook app, see this link

2. you can only install roms for your device depending on network by default, if you want to install an unbranded htc official rom you will need to create a gold card (please read the guides, they are there to help you) the latest rom is not always the best BTW and for warranty purposes you need to be o2 branded if it is an o2 device

3. very vague question but i will try to answer it.
There are many ways, you can use the device as mass storage when the sdcard is inserted. All you have to do is pull down the notification bar at the top (where the battery icon is) and click where it says "charge only" and select disk drive.
This will then show up as a mass storage device/removable storage on your pc, you can drag and drop to your hearts content

there are other more complex ways but that is the simplest
