UK release date now 21st April

I have just spoken to phones 4 u and they tell me that they expect stock on the 21st april. I said that samsung have stated that 1st May is the release date but he reckons that they have been able to secure some early and will be the only UKcompany to get them early.
It may be bs but he seemed to be genuine. Let's hope so.

Only GREY seller will sell you before the official release date. Your genuine guy probably held up a Samsung truck.

My local Phones4U said it would be a couple of weeks, but said that they'd been told it was "a couple of weeks" for the last couple of months so that's not reliable. CarPhoneWarehouse told me May 6th.

Phones 4 U told me 1st May (i.e. delivered 3rd) earlier today.

Looks like some sites might get them early then, best keep an eye on a few sites over the next few weeks.

However knowing users here I'm sure somebody will post a link once somebody has them in stock.

Anyone in the UK selling the UK SGSII before the 1st May will be in breach of Samsung UK's distribution policy.

I don't believe any will have it earlier, I do believe lots of places are using bait n switch tactics to lure people into pre-ordering with them...
