Root Un-brick

I tried to downgrade using THIS thread for instructions, but now I'm bricked. Turn on the phone, black screen, metro pcs sound, nothing after that. PLEASE HELP.

Optimus M came with 2.2.1

must I do it from start to finish, or is there a point where my phone comes back and I can stop so as not to root?
 
Let's say this doesn't work(pure hypothetical) could I just follow the videos in "the new LGNPST Lab 1.2 thread now HD video" and use MS690ZV4_26.BIN.zip instead of the TOT file. Would that work?

By the way, you are being oh so helpful, thank you so much. truly wish I could give you money or something in return.

Yes you could use those videos but change the .bin file with the one I told you.

just gonna try doing everything in root 2.2.1 root get data working including the root, without changing the .bin file. practically bricked my phone trying to root, might as well get it back working AND root right? started a couple minutes ago. wish me luck If I need anything I'll message you.

If all you did was downgrade it and now get the black screen you can do something much easier to get back to 2.2.1 using the lg update tool, the one you used to downgrade. Just specifiy upgrade, it will upgrade the phone back to stock.

failed to load skin.dll

so since I haven't actually done anything from 2.2.1getdataworking WITH THE PHONE Itself I'll try LG tool since you say it's easiest.

New Optimus - could you clarify that? I am running 2.2 on my Optimus M and it just barely works. I just want to return the phone to original everything. I think I deleted the update tool. Market doesn't work.

Did your phone come with 2.2. It must have if you can run it an dont have black screen. You can flash the zero rom it will help with many of the issues you have if your having trouble flashing it post of specifics and there are many people that can help.

Of course if you just want the phone to be like you bought it you can update to 2.2.1 using the update tool which is not something you get in market, you download it from lg, I put a link to it in another post you run lgs update tool on your computer with your phone plugged to usb.
