Help Unable to setup Exchange emal account

Hello,

I tried to setup exchange email account of my company on this phone But I'am unsuccessfull.

I have all information needed such as username,domain/server etc.. But after enterring all those it does -->

"Checking incoming server settings" & then the following error message appears "Setup could not finish - Unable to open connection to server".

The settings I got are OK because when I tried the Touchdown (Trial of 30 days) It worked.

Can anyone help ??

The thing is that i am able to set up my company servers fine ! you must check the domain and settings again if that does not work use K9-Mail from market it is free and open source also !

I tried K9-Mail But it asks for some port which is not needed before. What needs to be given here ?

Oh for the port mostly port 443 is used if ur compaly runs on ssl security server
here is a example of setting up a sample except the owa path may varry according to ur company servers !

SSL (always) -- mostly all companies these days have ssl if your comapny has other methods you can ask me for the ports !
Port

ADVANCED

nothing here
OWA Path
https://remote.mydomain.com/OWA -- too unaware !
Authentication Path
nothing here

also i will recommend to use stock email app for setting up exchange server i have had better results regarding stability and functionality on stock email app !-- it works fine for me more over the options in k-9 are un necessary !

your problem seems to be in security type enquiry ur company abt the secority type
most common are ssl , tls .
you need to set it properly in stock email app...
