Root Unable to sync Facebook

Hey guys. First I want to say after a long and difficult process I was finally able to get Velocity running on 2.2 and have all the scripts updated and I have to say. HOLY COW! It's like a brand-new phone and I just am having way too much fun tweaking it. I want to thank you guys for developing such a kick ass ROM.

My ONLY issue that I have come across is that I am unable to sync my Facebook contatcs with my phone. I am able to sync other programs just fine but when I try and do FB all it does is goes back to the sync screen without syncing :/ I am at a complete loss and was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

Other than that this ROM is AMAZING! Thanks so much guys!

Alright guys I found a program that will sync it up and it actually does a better job then the phone itself. It's called SyncMyPix. Works WAY better then the original way. It's a free DL off the market too.
 
Yes Socialite is gone, no hair off my back, but the market Facebook doesn't seem to want to sync. It's not a big deal, I'm not upset, it's just weird.

I have zero probelms with not syncing to Facebook, I sync'd before but more as a curiosity than anything.
 
I'd watch out with syncing to facebook though. Its been known to set itself as the default and keep google from syncing. which means if you delete facebook off your phone you have to re-download it or you lose contacts or if you delete your facebook account you lose your contacts that facebook synced for good. Thats why google removed facebook sync from 2.3.3 or 2.3.4. Facebook doesn't interface with the contacts app as it should and they wont fix. So google removed the facebook sync from 2.3.X until facebook fixes the issue.
