Root Uninstall ROM Manager !

1.4 is slightly better for battery. I use the HAVS AXI CFS. The 2.0 has WiFi Fast on permenantly (or something anyway) which means slightly more screen off drain.

Hi
once this is flashed, does it need configuring ?

I take it to remove it I would need to reflash CM7 ?

Thanks ( again )

To remove flash another kernel or reflash the rom.

I use "set CPU" to overclock it and set a screen off profile. Also to set the min freq to 128. However, CM7 has its own settings in CM settings menu to manage CPU.

I still prefer Set CPU though.

Thanks for the reply.

That's what's confusing me. ( nothing new there )
Once installed does it need to be configured, or do I just leave it as default and I should notice a benefit on the battery ?

Or do I need to use SetCpu to get the best out of it.. ?

Cheers :o

Without using set CPU or cm settings, you won't be using the 128mhz minimum frequency, so you will need to configure that there.

:D well the phone reboot and now showing :

kernel version:
2.6.35.8-ManU-1.4.GB-HAVS-AXI-128-CFS
manu@manu-VirtualBox #213

In CyanogenMod Settings -> Performance -> CPU Settings
I have:
Available Governors = ONDEMAND
Min CPU = 128 Mhz
Max CPU = 998 Mhz
Set on boot = Off

Is that right ? Thanks

would laucherpro app draw scrolling be affect by this ?
Or is it just my mind playing tricks

it seems a little slower !

it shouldnt do i never had an issue but then i set my settings using setcpu
maybe keep the defaults in cyanogen cpu settings and use setCPU instead

ive never liked launcher pros scrolling as it can be laggy at times

You need set on boot ON. Otherwise when you reboot, these settings are lost. Its an undervolted kernel, so you can set to 103 or 107 MAX with no detremental effect on Battery. LP latest is a bit laggy I find, which is why I moved to Go.

Thanks for the advise.

I don't have an entry for '103 or 107 MAX' I presume 1036Mhz or 1075Mhz ??

I'll take a look at Go Launcher, must admit I've never heard of it !
